1. Refund Policy Overview

FixMyRadio.shop is committed to customer satisfaction. This Refund & Return Policy outlines the conditions and procedures for refunds, returns, and warranty claims related to our radio repair services.

2. Diagnostic Fee Refunds

A diagnostic fee may be charged for the initial assessment of your equipment. This fee is non-refundable if you choose not to proceed with repairs. However, if you approve and proceed with repairs, the diagnostic fee will be credited toward your repair costs.

If we determine that the equipment cannot be repaired or that repair is not economically feasible, the diagnostic fee may be waived at our discretion.

3. Repair Service Refunds

Before Repair Begins: If you request to cancel your repair service before we begin work, we will refund all payments except any diagnostic fees already charged.

During Repair: If you request to cancel while repairs are in progress, you will be charged for parts used and labor completed. The remaining balance will be refunded.

After Repair Completion: No refunds are available for completed repairs. However, if there is a defect in workmanship covered under our warranty (see Section 4), we will repair or replace the service at no additional charge.

4. Warranty Coverage and Repair Guarantee

All completed repairs are warranted for 90 days from the date of return. This warranty covers:

  • Defects in workmanship
  • Failures in repaired components
  • Defects in replacement parts

If warranty service is needed within 90 days, we will repair or replace the equipment at no charge. You are responsible for return shipping costs to our facility.

Warranty Exclusions: This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, water damage, physical damage, or modifications made after repair. The warranty also does not cover unrelated components or pre-existing conditions not addressed in the original repair.

5. Return Conditions

If you wish to return repaired equipment within 14 days of receipt for any reason:

  • The equipment must be in its original condition
  • You must provide a written explanation of why you wish to return it
  • Return shipping costs are your responsibility
  • A restocking fee of up to 20% of repair costs may apply

Equipment returned after 14 days or showing signs of use cannot be returned.

6. Non-Repairable Equipment

If we determine that equipment cannot be repaired:

  • We will notify you promptly and explain the situation
  • Your equipment will be returned to you
  • You will only be charged for the diagnostic assessment (if applicable)
  • The diagnostic fee may be waived at our discretion

7. Payment and Refund Processing

Refunds will be processed using the original payment method. The time required for a refund to appear in your account depends on your financial institution and may take 5-10 business days.

We will notify you by email when a refund has been processed.

8. Parts and Materials

Parts Purchased for Repair: Parts ordered specifically for your repair are non-refundable if the repair is cancelled after the parts have been ordered, as we will not be able to return them to suppliers.

Defective Parts: If a replacement part fails due to manufacturer defect, we will replace it free of charge under warranty.

9. Shipping-Related Issues

Equipment Damaged in Shipping: We are not responsible for damage that occurs during shipping to our facility. However, if damage occurs during return shipment from our facility, contact us immediately with photo documentation.

Lost or Missing Equipment: If equipment is lost or goes missing during shipping, we are not responsible. We recommend using insured shipping with tracking and signature confirmation.

10. Special Circumstances

We understand that circumstances may sometimes warrant exceptions to our standard policies. If you believe you have a legitimate claim that does not fit our standard guidelines, please contact us:

12. Policy Changes

We reserve the right to modify this Refund & Return Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Claims submitted before policy changes are subject to the policies in effect at the time of the claim.
